New Rochelle, NY - The Women's Basketball season came to a close on Thursday night with a loss at Monroe College. The Lions were strong defensively, but only managed 35 points on the night as they dropped the contest, 65-35.
Tiana Presley lead the team with 14 points and tied for a team high 8 rebounds with Alexia Mia Martí. Kerine Thomas was the other member of the team that registered double digit points as she finished with 11 on the night. The Lions finished the season with an overall record of 10-19 and missed the Region XIX playoffs for the first time since the 2017-2018 season.
The Lions return six members from this years' roster and will look to build off their experience for the 2023-2024 season.
