North Branch, NJ - The RVCC Women's basketball team hosted the Monroe Bronx Express on Saturday afternoon. The Lions were plaqued by foul trouble all game and turned the ball over too much en route to a 71-51 loss. Every member of the team scored on Saturday and the squad shot 82% from the line for the day. Bianca Diaz, Le'Ana Brown, and Rocío Martín Muñoz were all perfect from the charity stripe on the night. Brown led the Lions with 16 points while Martín Muñoz and Kerine Thomas each chipped in with 9. Tiana Presley was close to another double double as she finished with 7 points and 8 boards.
The team now sits at 9-14 on the season. Next up for the Lions is a home game against the Wolverines from Essex County College. Tip off is set for 5 PM on Thursday the 2nd.
