Lions kick-off 2026 softball season

The Raritan Valley Community College softball team began their 2026 season at Diamond Nation in Flemington, NJ, this past Tuesday. The Lady Lions took on the Vikings of Mercer County Community College in doubleheader fashion. Kelsey Butler and Isabella Gallegos recorded the first set of hits for Raritan this season, while a few Lions made their way on base via walks. 

Yaneli Ruiz Lopez and Ariel Glezman both made their pitching debuts on the mound, respectively. 

The Lions will be back in action for another home series on Tuesday, March 17th, at Diamond Nation, where they welcome Sussex County Community College for a doubleheader at 3 and 5pm.
