RVCC Hosts First Annual Skyland Conference Senior All-Star Game

North Branch, NJ - RVCC hosted the First Annual Skyland Conference Senior All-Star Game on Sunday, April 19th. The players were chosen after earning All-Conference selections as voted on by the coaches in the conference.  The girls game took place at 11 AM, and the boys followed it up at 1 PM. The girls' contest featured a very close back and forth game the entire way through with Team Black pulling out the close victory, 61-60. Bethany Ramos, an RVCC commit from Hunterdon Central, hit the game winning lay-up with less than 5 seconds to go to help her team win. Natalie Sroka, an East Stroudsburg commit from Belvidere, was named the MVP of the girls game as she finished with 18 total points.

The boys game was a very close contest as well with Team Grey beating Team Green in overtime. Team Green had a chance to win the game in regulation, but couldn't get the shot to fall. With the score tied at 66 a piece, the coaches decided that the game would be played to a total score of 72. The game winning shot was hit by MVP, Nicolas Nsenkyrie from Rutgers Prep. Nsenkyrie is headed to Franklin and Marshall in the fall of 2026. Congratulations to all participants on being selected and competing in the First Annual Skyland Conference Senior All-Star Game.
