Hannah Eisenstein, a sophomore Libero, has been named to the All-Region XIX Third Team. Eisenstein has been a staple on the Lions defensive side of the net for the past two seasons. Last year she finished the season ranked 3rd in the entire NJCAA Division III with 6.60 digs per set. This season Eisenstein averaged 6.94 digs per set good for 4th in the country. Over the past two seasons Hannah has racked up over 650 digs! Although Hannah is most known for her defense, perhaps her most memorable moment as a Lions was her four service points in a row against CCBC Essex. Down 11-12 in the fifth and final set Eisenstein reeled off four straight service points, with 3 digs and a kill as well, to help the Lions defeat the Division II foe for one of their biggest wins on the year! Obviously it will be hard to replace Hannah's defense, but that will be far easier than replacing her character. The smallest player on the floor at every game, with a heart, will, and determination rivaled by none. The sophomore from Bridgewater Raritan High School has taken RVCC's volleyball program from the absolute bottom all the way to the top. Hannah helped grow the program from a winless club team to a #10 Nationally Ranked 20-2 squad, Garden State Athletic Conference Champions and Region XIX Runner-Up. Hannah, congratulations on a wonderful year and a tremendous career.
