Thursday, January 18th 2018, Harrisburg PA – RVCC Women's Basketball team won their second game of a back to back with a convincing 71-41 victory over Harrisburg Area Community College. The Lions came out firing taking a 26-8 lead going into the second quarter and never trailed after that.
The Lions got solid performances from everyone on their team as seven of their ten players scored five points or more. Leading the way was Sophomore guard Megan Mack with 19 points as she was able to connect on four attempts from downtown. Freshman guard Olivia Nilsen registered her second double double in three games finishing with 15 points and 14 boards. Freshman forward Claudia Edralin turned in a solid performance with 7 points and 9 boards and Freshman guard Armani Mayers was very effective as well finishing with 7 points and 8 rebounds. Freshmen Moira Phillips and Lauren Armellino helped give the Lions a 64-36 advantage on the boards as they finished with 6 and 8 rebounds respectively. The Lions play next this Saturday January 20th 2018 at 1 PM as they take on Harcum College down in Bryn Mawr.
