Jan Cocoziello Hired as Men's Golf Coach

Raritan Valley Community College has hired Jan Cocozziello to be their Men's Golf Coach. Cocozziello was selected out of a group of competitive candidates. Cocozziello is experienced in both coaching and golf instruction, and has an esteemed background in athletics.

Cocozziello attended Hartwick College in Oneonta, New York and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in political science in May 2009, and was a four year varsity letter winner for basketball. Cocozziello went on to attend Saint Peters University and earn a master's of arts in education with a concentration in physical education and health in May 2015.

Coaching is no new task for Cocozziello, as he has several years of experience. He began coaching in September 2011 as an assistant coach for Watchung Hills Regional High School boys' basketball. During that time Cocozziello also coached middle school and high school aged athletes for Hoop Haven in Bridgewater NJ. In September 2013 he moved on to be the assistant boys' basketball coach for Westfield Senior High School.

Beginning in May 2014, Cocozziello has been working as an advanced supervisor and instructor for Hyatt Hills Golf Performance Academy. He has been teaching kids aged 9-16 basic skills along with the mental aspect of the game.

We are excited to have Cocozziello on board, and believe he will successfully continue the winning tradition of RVCC golf.
